Whether you want to photograph nature, landscapes, or your beautiful children and family, this class will help you take control of your camera and start getting the photos you want.
What the class will cover?
- All about your camera (what do all those buttons do!!)
- The relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
- Using your camera in Manual mode.
- Metering
- Exposure
- Basics of white balance, focus modes and file types.
- Using Natural Light
- Composition
- Some basic processing tips.
Required: digital SLR (a camera that is capable of changing lenses.)
Winter 2012 4-Week Class

Jan/Feb 4-Week Class
This class meets 4 weekday Wednesday nights–1 1/2 hours each night.
Class Dates: Wednesday evenings: January 25th, February 1st, 8th, 15th
Place and Time: 7:30 to 9 p.m. Spanish Fork, UT (I’ll email address and directions 1 week prior to class.)

February 1-Day Class
This class meets for 6 hours on a Saturday.
Class Dates: Saturday, February 18th
Place and Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Spanish Fork, UT (I’ll email address and directions 1 week prior to class.)

Additional Details
- I only offer a limited amount of seats for each class to ensure that classes are small with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn on YOUR camera.
- All attendees receive a special tips and tricks booklet with much of the class information and to allow for taking notes.
- Simple assignments will be given after each class to practice/apply the topics learned. Assignments include feedback on photos from me!
- Plenty of opportunity will be given to ask questions.
- Come with a friend or come make some new ones!
