Fall Means Football

I am really behind at posting some of my family images and I am hoping to get a little more caught up now that school is starting.

This time of year is so deeply branded as “Football Season” that I can almost smell it coming. I grew up watching BYU Football with my dad and brothers. When it was time for me to go to college, there was pretty much only one college I wanted to attend. When I was accepted, I was thrilled!! I budgeted some of my college money for season football tickets my first year at BYU and since then have only missed one or two BYU Football seasons. My kids now love to attend these games are are becoming avid BYU Football fans, too.

We have been having fun attending all the pre-football events the last few weeks. Get ready for photo overload!!

Playing on the field after the scrimmage was definitely one of the highlights!!

It has been fun to have my sister down here at BYU.  She comes to lots of events with us and makes them THAT much more exciting!!

This event was to highlight all BYU Fall sports.  Women’s Volleyball was playing water volleyball and my kids were in heaven!  Here they are launching just 2 water balloons at the other side, but it got up to 5 at some point!

There were races and this little “fastie” out-paced several boys!

They had to try on the football helmets and show me their “scary” faces and muscles!

Even though the weight of the helmet caused him to fall over more than once, he was sad when we had to take it off.

And thus begins the Fall Football season.  Go Cougars!!
